extracted this from a girl's blog. i know her somehow, but she ain't a personal friend though. these are her kind of deep thoughts about marriage after attending her friend's wedding. and after reading this, i realized i actually feel the same way. not EXACTLY the same, but somehow like this.

I attended one of my friends wedding on sat. They are my secondary school friends, and at the age of 21,they are already married.Yes,i pretty much give them all my blessings and hope they will treasure each other till death do them part. When couples exchange their vows in front of every single ones, including their closest kin,to promise that they will love each other and take care of each other forever,it is really a heavy responsibility. The vows made in front of everyone is very important.I personally feel that marriage is a life-long commitment. With this commitment, husband and wife will have to treasure each other for as long as they grow old together.

To be able to find a husband that really loves you and treasure you is v important isn't it? I am kinda withdrawn at the thought of marriage,i don't know why,but i feel that it takes a very great courage to get married and live under one roof everyday together.Afterall, everything will be different once you get married.I tend to think alot for my future. But i want a husband that will really gives me happiness and truly loves me for who i am,will be there for me when i need him, will be listening to my rants every now and then. Will be supporting me no matter what i do.

I believe in commitment. Oh well, let's skip the topic of married life.

No man means all he says, and yet very few say all they mean,
for words are slippery and thoughts are vicious.
