 Saturday, May 8, 2010  @ 4:43 AM ok i've decided not to go to sleep although it's like almost 5am, and i'm seriously darn tired. so i'm gonna do up a part of my bangkok post. gonna do the 1st day only. at least got PROGRESS ~~ haha. let's aim to finish this post by 6am, internet please don't fail me !!!
time check: 4.45am
ok like most trips, we start off with a photo in the airport =] taken by a stranger who doesn't have depth perception to take a closer photo, and don't know how to focus. ok la, let's appreciate her for stopping to help us though =D still a nice picture. on the plane .............................. there's nothing to do but camwhore, so you can skip about the next 20photos unless you miss me too much ^^

ok this is scaryyyyy ~ at least i think so. tired already, all of us didn't really sleep the night before.

note: next time don't need to specially book van from hotel despite riots and all that. cabs are wayyyyyy cheaper. in the back seats, zarra and yeemoon. 
and the only guy, kaiyuan. who couldn't stop text-ing once he reach thailand. god bless his phone bill.

and the happy phone =D the first wrong place we arrived. this is sukhumvit 38mansion plus, ours is sukhumvit 38 mansion.
the correct one now =)))  retro corner. OUR APARTMENT !! this is like barely half of it, bigggggg? so much space for us to "fashion show" =)
 
one of the bed rooms with extra bed, the other one is just as big. and this is only like 75% of the room lol. shioookkkk ~~ 
love the lift door near the swimming pool =)
the un-chlorinated pool that alicia says she'll never swim in ever again.
put down our things and headed for Siam. the girls, at Thong Lo BTS station =D
we initially waited at the tail of the station, as there were no people as compared to the other half. when the train arrived, then we realized their trains are half the length of their station. so we had to walk half the distance to board the train LOL !!! i sat with zarra (was it?) at these seats. in singapore, we call it priority seat. in thailand .................. hahaha. we didn't realize until yeemun told us LOL !!!! SIAM ~~~

so hungry, we went to shabu shabu for lunch. wth eat restaurant right LOL !! quite cheap, about 10 odd bucks, less than 15, but you only have 1 hour 15mins to eat.
no time to pose !!!!   
Siam wasn't that interesting. so we decided to act smart and find our own way to supermarket. on the way, we were spending a lot of time in the lingerie shop because ........................... haha secret ok !! so zarra and kaiyuan went to this shop that sells powdery sherbet. haha ok i exaggerated, but i don't know how to describe la ~~time check: 4mins to 6am !! fail la ...  we finally reached somewhere near to the supermarket on our map. but actually, it's still far away. at this point, we've walked at least half an hour already. minus the shopping.  
after another 15mins, we FINALLY saw it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nearer and nearer =DDD 
AND WE'RE HERE !!!!!!!!!! where're the jump shots !!! i realized no one uploaded them LOL !!! yes we took jump shots in public and the tuk tuk riders were ogling =.=
ok and then we supposedly shop for PLAIN WATER, yes from what i hear, thailand's water is not very safe to be consumed. but end up, we bought a lot of "staple" food for our trip, or rather junk food lol.   and that's the end of day 1 !!!!!!!!!!!! not that exciting so got a lot of attention span to take photos. the rest of the days don't really have a lot of photos as we were immersing into their culture lol.
a taxi driver even praised me for being able to speak thai well ok !! heh heh. he replied me in thai, totally didn't suspect i was a foreigner. ok blame my skin tone too lol. can't help it right.ok time check !! 6.03am, not too bad =DD can go sleep already. if not i'll dieat work and mahjong later on.
