Have you ever thought of yourself as a builder of a sandcastle?
Sometimes, life is like a sandcastle,
Made of dry sand.
One careless incident, sweeps all hardwork away.
And unintentional move might spoil all you've been working for.
Because the dampened sandcastle stands longer than that of a dry one,
People turn blind to the struggles endured to build one with dry sand.
It equates to how human values things given to them via different sources and forms.
When the gift is desired by the heart,
The efforts invested reap higher levels of appreciation.
When gift is less desired,
Efforts get undermined.
Just exactly like a coarse sandcastle,
Who has much lesser ability to stand,
But remains standing just for you.
You just don't know what they do to make it happen for you.
A rich might have given a thousand pounds,
But a poor could've shared his/her last morsel with you.
How would you weigh their commitment towards you?
If a word could hurt, a sandcastle would fall.
The tongue has no bones, but it could break a heart.
